Building the Bamboo Room ~

One day, we were sitting in the backyard in front of a patch of dirt complaining about the cost of an Uber to the East side to see any good live music and all of a sudden it clicked. We should bring the show to us. We got to work on the yard and started meeting for breakfast every Wednesday at a local diner, and a few months later, the Bamboo Room was born.

from yardwork to Yardwork ~

What started as a simple idea among three friends to bring live music to the West Side for our buddies and neighbors to enjoy has quickly turned into a groovy concert series called Yardwork.

Yardwork is now a beautiful community of diverse people from across the city who love live music and supporting new and emerging artists.
